Theodore
(Ted) Raimi, a native of Detroit, got the acting bug
as a child when he would appear as an extra in brother
Sam Raimis early Super-8 and feature films (including
Sam's first hit The Evil Dead). Ted briefly attended
Michigan State University, then went to the University
of New York and finally to the University of Detroit.
Teds unique acting ability has landed him in a
variety of roles playing both good guys and villains
in television and in movies. He started his career by
appearing in series of industrial films in the Motor
City, and moved on to appear in the feature films
Shocker, Skinner, Darkman, Lunatics:
A Love Story, Patriot Games, Clear And
Present Danger, Hard Target, Candyman,
Born Yesterday, Forced Exposure, Stuart
Saves His Family, For Love Of The Game And
Army Of Darkness (a.k.a. Evil Dead lll).
Ted has also had a number of television appearances,
with guest starring roles on series such as Baywatch,
Twin Peaks, Alf and American Gothic.
Ted is probably best know for his recurring roles on
SeaQuest DSV (later SeaQuest 2032) as
Lt. Tim O'Neill, and Xena: Warrior Princess as
Joxer The Mighty.
Ted also writes screenplays and his writing credits
include co-writer on an episode of SeaQuest and
a pilot for the live action/animated series Normal Joe.
