A founding partner of the Los Angeles-based feature
film, television, and theatre development and production
company, entitled
entertainment, Scott Disharoon has a distinguished
background producing for theater and film, having produced
over 20 plays and several feature films. His latest
film, Aurora Borealis, starring Joshua Jackson,
Donald Sutherland, Juliette Lewis, and Louise Fletcher,
was just awarded the Jury Prize for Best Film at the
Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival. Some of
Disharoon's theater credits include the Drama-Logue
Award winning He Who Gets Slapped, Angels
Twice Descending, Waiting for the Parade,
and Elektra, both directed by Burke, the west
coast premiere of Lee Blessing's Down the Road, Burn
This and the world premiere of David Stevens' The
Sum of Us, for which he served as co-producer. His
feature film credits include the dark comedy Critics,
and Cold Sweat. Disharoon began his career under
the tutelage of Dorothy Lyman at her Los Angeles based
A Directors' Theatre.
