Chris
Ferreira has been involved in music composition and
film in the Bay Area for some years. His early experience
with composition began with student dance and quickly
grew into short films of a wide range, many of which
went on to show at festivals around the country. Since
those early days he has done works for industrial video
and completed a handful of independent films.
His first feature film collaboration with Michael Goorjian
was on the locally-produced Oakland Underground.
Chris’ work in film is not only with music composition.
He has also worked on numerous projects doing everything
from grip/electric to acting, to production design.
Currently, Chris is continuing work on a series of piano
pieces that he hopes to soon record and publish. He
is also considering working on a ballet about Vampires.
